Diane Shawe – Author of ‘Getting Started in the Hair Extensions Business‘ and ‘How Hair Extensions are Sourced Treated and Graded‘ – started her full time self employed business in Hair extensions & Hair Loss treatments in 2000 after spending 20 years in Business Development, Vocational Training and Telecommunication/Fibre Optic Technology. She is currently the CEO of NAHM Specialist Salon Franchise Ltd.
Diane Shawe is a speaker, trainer, mentor, consultant, entrepreneur and author with 18 published titles on Amazon and Google Books. She has personally trained over 4800 people around the world in a variety of subjects. She has contributed to over 200 Kiva Entrepreneur’s around the world in over 50 countries.
She was also one of the producers of a Day time Ladies Talk Show in 2015 and Host of one of the UK’s best loved Annual Hair Extensions Awards. She has served on various committees at the Huse of Lords and has won a variety of prestigious awards over the past 30 years.
So why hair extensions and Hairloss? In 1989 Diane lost all of her hair all over her body for three years due to an illness and the effects of the medication. She discovered during that time just how little specialist help there was for women and men who needed to appear in public comfortable, confident and normal whilst concealing a huge hair challenge, so she decided to do something about it and launched her first dedicated hair extensions salon in 2000.

8. What are your interests and hobbies? What do you do to relax?
Diane also enjoys oil painting, sailing and clay pigeon shooting. She loves the outdoor, alicarte cooking, movies and theatre. She focuses on topics that she is passionate about in her writing and has attracted over 46,000 followers across her social media platforms.
