Grey Matters Consultancy provides services for vulnerable people, particularly the elderly. Franchise rationale – the business has been designed from the start to be able to be rolled out as a franchise. Now that the concept has been a proven success since 2012, it is ready for that to be implemented.
Definition of success – the current franchise is at a run rate of £40k pa (on attendance allowance work only) with a time investment of 30 hours per week, this is spread over 3 Life Navigators. There is no reason for this not to be replicated by additional franchises. The model works as effectively whether this is scaled up or scaled down. Clearly, the more time and energy effectively invested, the greater the revenue.
