About Us
Banana Moon was founded in 2006 when one of our directors was unable to find a high-quality nursery for their child to attend. It quickly became very clear that this level of nursery did not exist. Therefore, the aim of Banana Moon was to simply provide a high standard of care for the children and their parents.
Our systems over the years have been developed and polished. We can confidently offer the new franchisee reassurance as our founders and support team have experience building successful nurseries from scratch.

What we offer:
We know how hard starting a business is, and that’s why we have a comprehensive franchise package to help you build a successful nursery.
A franchisee will receive all the necessary training to prepare them for Ofsted, as well as ongoing assistance from our dedicated support team. We will work with you to create a customised business plan and will assist you in identifying premises, hiring employees, and finding customers. Most significantly, we want your nursery to be successful. We will always on hand to offer advice along the way.
Investment
The franchisee will be ready to commit a long-term investment and while it will not always be easy, following the process will soon pay off. You will require a minimum total investment of £300,000–£400,000, depending on the size and location of the nursery. We work closely with major high-street banks, the majority of which will advance you up to 75% of the funding required. Therefore, we recommend having at least £100,000 in liquid capital reserves before applying for a franchise.
