Azura Group Ltd (“Azura”), a leading franchise management software system developer, announces the promotion of Mark Scott to Managing Director with immediate effect. Mark joined the business in June 2021 as Operations Director having previously been Head of the Franchise team at NatWest. Over the past nearly twelve months he has helped develop Azura’s operations and processes, which has included an investment in people and processes to manage the increasing number of franchise businesses using the Azura system.
In conjunction with Mark’s promotion, founder, Simon Pullum, is appointed Chairman of Azura. In this new role, Simon will focus on enhancing and extending the technical development of Azura’s range of services. Simon will continue to work closely with Mark and retain an involvement in key areas of the business.
Following the acquisition of Azura by Franchise Brands plc in November last year, the management changes are part of the next evolution of the development of the business as part of the Franchise Brands Group and provide a strong platform for future growth. In their new roles, Mark and Simon will continue to be able to draw on the Group’s resources, experience and expertise to build on Azura’s success to date.
Mark Scott, Managing Director of Azura, said:
“I am delighted to become Managing Director of Azura. Since joining the business from NatWest, I have greatly enjoyed working with Simon and the team, developing relationships with our valued customers and introducing a number of new franchise businesses to Azura. In this broader leadership role, I look forward to driving the future growth of the business and supporting all our customers to grow their businesses using Azura’s franchise management software system”.
Simon Pullum, Chairman of Azura, said:
‘I am proud of the way Azura has developed over the past 30 years, in particular being able to partner with our franchise customers to help them grow their business with the benefit of our technology. Following a successful partnership with Mark over the past nearly twelve months, the time is now right for me to spend more time doing the things I am passionate about such as improving the range of services that Azura provides and enhancing the technology for the benefit of our customers”.
