A qualified accountant and partner for ambitious business owners, franchising provides an often overlooked growth route. In developing franchising as a growth strategy, coupled with a focus on embedding the right systems in the finance function of a business to allow for scale, the opportunity to partner with franchise networks presented itself. The decision then to join the QFA was an obvious one, it being a forward-thinking association with big ambitions, not content to do things “the way they’ve always been done”, which really resonated. To be invited to join the QFA Board, based on the support I’ve given to members to date and some of the ideas I’ve put forward, is a very proud moment.
