Continued growth for the UK’s first virtual franchise show
It’s amazing to think that it’s only just over a year since the launch of the UK’s first virtual franchise show, the Virtual Franchise & Business Opportunity Show. The first show was launched in April 2020 during the first lockdown & since then has successfully completed 2 further shows.
During the pandemic the QFA realised franchisors would need more support than ever so increased it’s Board, benefits & support including financial, operation & legal advice. All face to face events & franchise exhibitions were postponed with many franchisors facing the prospect of paying for an event that may never happen. We loved the platform & decided to be the first sponsor of this innovative event to provide franchisors with an opportunity to exhibit despite lockdown. The first event was very successful & we are delighted to be headline sponsors of the event.
The event has continued to grow & we welcome additional partners including Businesses For Sale, Daltons, Elite Franchise & Working Mums.
The show has continued to grow & this months event had a total of 63 exhibitors which we believe makes it the largest virtual franchise show in the UK!
As always the QFA stand was very busy with both prospective franchisors & franchisees & we saw an increase of around 50% in leads from the show. With all QFA members receiving lower preferential stand rates of just £599 it’s amazing value & another great perk of QFA membership which costs from less than £1 a day for franchisors!
We are already planning additional events with lots going on behind the scenes to further grow & enhance the next show so watch this space!
Joel Bissitt, CEO comments “We are delighted to support this innovative event. It took a lot of courage & belief to launch the UK’s first event of this type in April 2020 during the first lockdown & CBO Group have done a great job. During the pandemic we massively increased benefits & support including expansion of the QFA team & this was a great way to enable franchisors to exhibit when all the face to face events were postponed. Feedback has been great from members & we look forward to assisting the continued growth of the event.”
